Dr. Jan Philip Bernius

Hallo Welt!

Ich bin Softwarearchitekt und arbeite bei Siemens im Bereich Industrial Edge. Mein Hauptaugenmerk liegt auf der Förderung der Inner-Source Methodik und der Verbreitung von Software-Engineering-Praktiken, die erfolgreich in Open-Source Projekten eingesetzt werden.

Vor meiner Tätigkeit bei Siemens war ich wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter der Forschungsgruppe für Angewandte Softwaretechnik (Prof. Brügge und Prof. Krusche) an der Technischen Universität München. Meine Dissertation Automatisierte Korrektur von Freitextaufgaben habe ich 2022 bei Prof. Dr. Bernd Brügge abgeschlossen. Während meiner Zeit an der TUM konzentrierte sich meine Forschung auf die Informatikausbildung und die automatische Bewertung mit einem Schwerpunkt auf Textaufgaben. Außerdem betreute ich die Open Source Lernplattform Artemis. Darüber hinaus unterrichtete ich die Lehrveranstaltungen Einführung in die Softwaretechnik (~2.200 Studierende), Patterns in Software Engineering (~800 Studierende), Interaktives Lernen und iPraktikum.
